There are many players who still face uncertain futures at Chelsea, with a lot of dependency now being on offers that come in and how serious interested clubs are.

You’d expect that Chelsea will want to get any outgoing deals of players who are in the current plans, or at least they are happy to keep, done very soon now if they are going to be sold, so that they can advance on suitable replacements. The longer it goes on without any movement around some players, then the much larger chance they have of just staying in the squad going into the new season.
