Morning all!
Last night it was Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher’s turn to try and make a major final with England, hoping to join Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella who have already done so. All four of them will now play in a major international final this summer as Palmer’s assist to Ollie Watkins sent England through to the Euros final with a 2-1 win over Netherlands. Is it actually coming home!? Spain and Cucurella will have something to say about that…. But what a climax to this competition.
It is fitting to start with Luke for today’s content, because he wrote some praise for Palmer after he came on as a sub and put a superb pass through to Watkins to get England jumping! You can check that out in full here.

Some flowers to hand out now. Above I mentioned Enzo and Cucurella’s success of reaching a major final this summer, and for that they deserves some flowers. But I’ve used this to go deeper into both of their situations at Chelsea as well.
Cucurella is either rated very highly by Chelsea fans, or very low by Chelsea fans, there doesn’t appear to be a lot between the marmite player. I look at his Euros so far, his Chelsea career so far, and much more in here. Also give my view on him.
The debate around Enzo once again is the position he plays in and how to get the best out of him. He played as a 6 again for Argentina this week, the same position he won the World Cup with them. Should he be playing that role for Chelsea? How does he fit in next season? That and reviewing his Copa America performance in here.
