It’s been a very messy week at Chelsea Football Club as an ugly fallout between Enzo Maresca and in particular, Behdad Eghbali, came to a crashing end with the two of them deciding to part company.
As we reported on the site on New Years Day early doors before any of the media picked up on it, Chelsea and Maresca had already decided to part ways after the Bournemouth draw and they lied to us all about Maresca being too unwell to do the post-match press conference. It was done, the Maresca and Chelsea story was over.
