The race to buy Chelsea is finally nearing the last couple of laps
I’ve seen a few people say this week that they are fed up of hearing about the race to buy Chelsea Football Club, and I totally get that.
I’ve felt the same over the last couple of weeks. We’ve been hearing contrasting stories, fake news, rumours, and everyone boding in with an opinion on it. And all of this has been without actually getting any closer to knowing who might be in charge of our beloved club going forward.
It’s the end of an era, but the start of a new one. And although I have grown frustrated hearing, reading, and being told about all the latest news on the situation, I am actually thankful that it appears that a lot of the reasoning behind it taking so long now is because Roman Abramovich is adamant on leaving Chelsea under the right guardianship when he moves on.
