Reece when fit and playing is great however you can't have a player missing 2/3 of a season year after year, that is not sustainable. We don't need a poster boy captain we do need one on the pitch to progress. Popcorn ready for next season to see what happens
Agree Martin, I think a lot of fans, myself included, are being a little bit fickle at the minute because we have all been banging the drum for over 18 months now that Reece needs to get surgery etc and now he's done it everybody has forgotten that part and is expecting Reece to just get injured again.
There is hard evidence that Lauren James had a similar if not the same recurring Hamstring injury which she used the 21/22 season to miss the majority and have surgery, she hasn't looked back since, its time to be optimists and be hopeful that the same will come for Reece.
Yes I wrote the season off before it begun, as you know as a scout and watching games week in week out, no matter what level it takes time to develop a team, also a good individual player does not always make best team member.
We need to sort our spine out and the mid field of Moises and our very own Moses the wanderer Enzo does not seem to work, well it does not for me I dont care hes won a world cup Messi had a bit to do with that as the rest of the team did.
Cant wait for next season as well, my concern is the SDs and OWNERS screwing it all up again.
I think we need to judge Enzo on a fully fit season, he’s an exceptional player and has clearly been struggling this season, Caicedo has been excellent especially in the second half of the season
More from a consistency point of view, I feel like we could have comfortably finished top 6 with more consistency and a clearer style of play and clearer patterns. On the whole I am content with Poch first season
I couldn’t agree with you more Luke and thank you for posting your thoughts. I would add that hopefully now that the club is dealt with the long-term issue that Reece has had and he’s had the operation that this could lead to the long-term solution and full fitness. Let’s hope so and that we all get to see and benefit from watching him next season.

Great article Luke! You mention that we should have achieved better this season. Curious as to what you mean. Can you clarify? THX
