Morning all!
I hope you have had a good week as we get to another weekend! Chelsea play football again tomorrow, and thankfully that sentence is not currently striking fear into us all like it has so often this season.
The Blues face Nottingham Forest away from home on Saturday in the early evening kick off. I have written a build up article to the game here, which has my score predictions too.
As you would have read above, I am staying very cautiously optimistic right now, even if too many others are getting a little bit overly excited about the last ‘two and a half games’. I’ll always look at the bigger picture, not just in football, and the bigger picture suggests we should all remain calm for now and just take each game as it comes. Things have been SO much better in the last two and a half games (so glad I don’t have to write that again), but in dissecting comments made by Todd Boehly this week, in here I have explained why we must be careful at the moment. I’ve also drawn in on many positive words that Boehly spoke this week in this article - I do believe we are in safe hands, even if the bumps in the road are big and still expected to come.
