Let’s be honest with the exception of all RDZ, any meetings are likely to be with people associated with the managers rather than managers themselves as they are all at this stage contracted to other football clubs. The messaging that has been seen by all of us over the past few days has been consistent in that once one person says it everybody else has been repeating it with no real, evidence of what’s true and what’s not. Personally I have a little doubt that there is something going on in the background but none of us know about at this stage and that is what is critical before a final decision is made. This is not to say that whatever that conversation is it will end up positively .
I believe we have a verbal agreement with De Zerbi, hence the noise over the weekend. Doesn't mean any contract has been signed though and that's where people are getting carried away. These owners have done this before, they will take away contract offers and low ball if they think there is a better opportunity available. Still think we want to wait for Amorim just to see what happens as there is no need to wait otherwise.
exactly... we could have appointed any of these yesterday. All of them are available and nothing is holding up their appointment if we make a move.... which makes me think it is Amorim we are waiting on.
True that. Read somewhere that Amorim - Liverpool fell through coz Sporting changed goal posts at last minute for the release clause and asked for 20 mil for Amorim. Curious how we work that out !!!

I guess it's possible that a manager's terms could change from June 1st and that's the delay.

Meetings and interviews mean nothing in reality, and we would need a backup in case Amorim declines, if my theory is true
