Good article but I find posting an article like this disrespectful and does not help the current situation because we have a coach. If we didn’t have a coach great, but no need for this now.

The fact that Amorim builds up with one holding midfielder puts me off so much, how can we invest so much money into the midfield yet neglect that so much?

I'm going to keep banging the drum for Steve Clarke:

1) he's a very good coach, according to Dalglish and Mourinho. Our young squad needs to be coached!!

2) Scotland are punching massively above their weight under him

3) If his teams aren't winning, then they're definitely hard to beat because of the way he sets them up

4) he's a winner as a player and a coach at Chelsea

Excellent article of Amorim. I know very little about him so it's great to read this

One other name that came up when I was looking at national team coaches was. Lee Carsley, England u21 coach. They won their last world champs.

Amorim is my #1 choice. Thiago Motta is a wildcard shout but worth keeping an eye on albeit I don’t think he would leave Italy.

Sportings squad has been gutted out and poached in recent years, but Amorim has been able to find solutions tactically with success, and that might important to consider for the owners with the FFP restraints we may have the in the future…

I’m still backing Poch to continue, but IF he is replaced Amorin is my top choice. I feel like the fans will appreciate his personality and no nonsense attitude. He’s about winning games and doesn’t care about being pragmatic in order to do so. We’ve been linked with Gyokeres so could be a nice pairing at Chelsea
