The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 5th January 2026!
Morning all,
I hope you all had a good New Years whatever you got up to away from the Circus that is Chelsea FC!
It’s been a mad last week at the club, with Enzo Maresca and Chelsea deciding to mutually part ways. It was coming.
As a result of this and MANY other things that have happened in the last three years, Chelsea fans have organised a protest for the Brentford game. You can read what is happening with all of that here, as well as my thoughts on it and my overall thoughts on the owners and what is going on at our club right now.
Chelsea also played football yesterday. Manchester City were our opponents. It was a game of two halves, and a fine tactical switch up by temp boss Callum McFarlane at half time saw The Blues get back into the game and earn a deserved point. You can get my full thoughts, debrief, ratings, and conclusion here.
I also rounded up all of the latest Chelsea news in general from across the last 24 hours in the same place here. My very latest info on Liam Rosenior to Chelsea in this.
The Score is always very passionate and has a lot to say on these situations. And it’s timely that we have an article from him today as he urges fans not to blame managers or players and to aim their frustrations at those at the very top of the club. Read that in full here.
I also had my sourced article out yesterday describing what happened during a very messy week at Chelsea Football Club as well as what we need to expect next with the new manager search. Check that out here if you didn’t already read it.
See you all on the next live blog this morning from around 8.45am.
Peace, Si.
