Loan Army: Roundup

Lets see how our loan army are getting on.....

Good Evening, Ladies and Gents,

Welcome back to the 23/24 season loan army report. This is a summary of what our loan players have been up to over the last week or so.

It starts slow this week but is raining G/A by the end.

Lets get into it……

Gaga Slonina:

Another loss for Gaga’s side last week, 2-0 v Westerlo, relegation rivals of theres. There is a real chance that Eupen get relegated this eason, I am sure they would be a lot lower down without Gaga’s performances.

Bashir Humphreys:

Bashir was back in the starting lineup this weekend, playing 80 minutes in Swansea’s 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough. Time will tell whether the caretaker manager will continue to pick Bash or who the knew manager will be.

Zak Sturge:

Zak was not in the squad for Peterborough’s last game.

Andrey Santos:

Andrey was not in the Squad for the Spurs game last Friday, a new manager there now and it will be incredibly interesting to see if Andrey gets back into the squad or even the XI. This could save his loan, although unless he starts the next 3/4 games consecutively he will be recalled anyway.

Cesare Casadei:

A 1 minute cameo for Cesare in their last fixture, another loan we may need to review in January in my opinion, he has played 27 minutes of the last 360 available…..

Tino Anjorin:

Still injured.

Omari Hutchinson:

Omari came on for 13 minutes in the local derby v Norwich (2-2) last weekend. HE looked dangerous but couldn’t do anything for Ipswich to nick the game.

Harvey Vale:

The first positive report of this weeks article, Harvey is playing every available minute currently and his performances are good.

He created 1 big chance, had 68 touches, completed 100% of crosses, won 3/4 tackles, made 910 defensive recoveries and had 9 defensive actions.

Charlie Webster:

An unused sub again, this is a waste of an overseas loan spot for me, recall him and get him playing in the football league for the 2nd half of the season.

Diego Moreira:

2 unused sub appearances in the last week for Diego as Lyon have started to win.

Mason Burstow:

Mason was an unused sub at the weekend but got his fitness up by playing for Sunderland U21 v Arsenal U21. New manager and a clean slate for Mason now, lets hope he pushes on.

David Datro Fofana:

Datro came on at HT and scored in his first appearance under the new management at Union Berlin. He could have scored a couple to be honest but a very positive performance.

Angelo Gabriel:

Another sub appearance last night for Angelo but he was very positive and assisted the winning goal. I will tag the assist below.

Dion Rankine:

Dion played 67 minutes and got the equalising assist, his comeback from his injury has been excellent so far. Assist linked below.
