Thanks much Luke.. Great work with these reviews. Gaga’s loan is kind of not super encouraging. Unsure it’s the league or my metrics are way too high with benchmark being Levi’s loan or Conor’s loan.
Really pleased for Maatsen and DDF .. Next season I am hoping we will have European loans for these youngsters. We had to use 3 loan slots this season for players we couldn’t sell.. so next season they will most likely be vacated imo.
Remember it's a first loan for Gaga, Levi's Huddersfield loan was good, but his Brighton Loan took off and set him up to be in our first team and Conor had 3 decent loans before his excellent Palace spell.
Completely agree with the European loans, Datro is showing he could be a squad player for next season behind any incoming no9. I have no doubt about Maatsen's quality albeit he needs to improve defensively, I actually think selling him will be the best thing for both parties.
Did I detect more positive loans and loan news, I would love to see Omari Hutchinson given a good run in pre season and a squad place next season with minutes.
In the same mind frame as you Andy, I love Omari and think he deserves a pre-season chance at minimum, I am also of the thinking he could do with a 2nd loan spell as well BUT with having a chance in pre-season coming first.

I would say it depends on who is manager, lets say Poch is still in charge I think Andrey Santos & Angelo have the most chance of being integrated next season.
If we end up in some form of European Competition they keep a couple more around the squad for European rotation.
I second Craige's point. I enjoy the weekly roundup. I would also be interested in an end-of-season loan review: who needs another loan, who is 1st team ready, who should we cut our losses on/make profit on, should we sell to allow for a loanee player coming in (i,e., selling Cech for Courtois after a season together), that type of thing.
