Loan Army 24/25: Roundup

Lets see how our loan army are getting on.....

Good Evening Ladies and Gents,

Lets see what our loan army have been up to this week…….

Teddy Sharman-Lowe (Doncaster Rovers) - Goalkeeper;

A 3-0 win and a clean sheet for Teddy last weekend away to Grimsby. He made 3 saves and got a really good match rating of 7.5/10

Ted Curd (Hampton & Richmond) - Goalkeeper;

A narrow defeat for Ted and Hampton & Richmond, a 1-0 home loss to Torquay.

Eddie Beach (Crawley Town) - Goalkeeper;

Eddie is and has been injured for the last 4 weeks, unfortunately as well because Crawley have had to get a goalkeeper in on a 7 day loan whilst their no1 goalkeeper is on international duty. Would have been a great chance for Eddie to displace him.

Gaga Slonina (Barnsley) - Goalkeeper;

A 2-0 defeat for Gaga and Barnsley last weekend, somehow Gaga manged to get an 8/10 match rating even in defeat away to Huddersfield. He made 7 saves in the game and clearly stood out.

Alfie Gilchrist (Sheffield United) - Right Back;

Another win for Alfie and Sheff United, another clean sheet and another good 75 mins in the tank for Alfie who is loving life on loan. Playing loads of minutes and in a good defence, the only team in the EFL who remain unbeaten.

Dylan Williams (Burton Albion) - Left Back/Wing Back;

More minutes and another start for Dylan, 80 minutes played. Unfortunately this Burton side are still losing games

Aaron Anselmino (Boca Juniors) - Centre Back;

A 1-0 win for Boca and Aaron last weekend, limited info on his performance unfortunately.

Caleb Wiley (RC Strasbourg) - Left Back/Wing Back;

Caleb is still out with injury.

Andrey Santos (RC Strasbourg) - Centre Midfield;

A 2-2 draw for Andrey and Strasbourg at home to Lens, a decent performance from Andrey albeit he did get cautioned. A solid start tot he season for both parties.

Bashir Humphreys (Burnley) - Centre Back;

Just the 45 mins for Bash against Burnley, in a game that finished 0-0 as a local derby.

Lesley Ugochukwu (Southampton) - Holding Midfield;

As expected Lesley was benched v Arsenal and unused.

Armando Broja (Everton) - Striker;

Still injured.

Kendry Paez (Independiente del Valle) - No.10/Attacker;

Unused sub at the weekend.

Estevao Willian (Palmeiras) - Right Winger;

Estevao returned from injury off the bench playing 25 minutes on his return.

Djordje Petrovic - (Strasbourg) - Goalkeeper;

3 saves for Djorje and still unbeaten in his 4 appearances for Strasbourg, a good start to life in France.

Trevoh Chalobah (Crystal Palace) - Centre Back;

Trev started and played 88 minutes v Liverpool last weekend, he played okay but was visibly rusty after a fair while of not playing. He only came off when Oliver Glasner decided to throw the kitchen sink at the game and put all of his attackers on the pitch.

Ronnie Stutter (Burton Albion) - Striker;

An 18 minute cameo upon his return from injury, Burton are in miserable form as mentioned above.

Leo Castledine (Shrewsbury Town) - Attacking Midfield;

Leo was reduced to a bench role in the weekends 2-2 draw with Bolton, where he came on for the final 36 minutes, unofrtunately his team were 2-1 up when he came on, he wasn’t at fault for the equalising goal but he couldn’t get his time over the line with a win.

Just to confirm I am not updating on Raheem Sterling or Kepa Arrizabalaga on purpose.
