Leeds embarrass Chelsea, Pat Nevin being won over by Chelsea project, Nobody should be jumping on Moises Caicedo, December slumps living in Enzo Maresca's mind, News roundups, Much more...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 4th December 2025!
Morning all,
Chelsea were back in Premier League action last night away at Leeds United, and it was one to forget, unfortunately. It’s very frustrating after two top performances that we go and put a show in like that. But also, I expect this, and I even wrote about it earlier this week. We are far from ‘there’ yet and that’s always been the case this season.
You can grab my full thoughts, ratings, debrief, and conclusion here.
Before the game as always, I had four other articles out.
First and foremost, round up all of your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here.
Pat Nevin has often been quite critical of the Chelsea project under this ownership, but now he appears to be warming to it after some good form of late. Flip flopping or warranted change of view? Words from myself and Pat here.
Nobody should be jumping on Moises Caicedo for his mis-timed tackle to get sent off against Arsenal, by the way. I’ve seen some stuff and it’s a bit too much. We don’t want to take his aggression away from his game, it’s what makes him world class. Words on that here.
Are Chelsea title contenders this season? Well, it’s the first time that Enzo Maresca has not completely ruled it out, but he is still being very cautious on it and rightly so. Words from the boss and myself here. This article has not aged well, after last night!
See you all on the next live blog around 8.45am this morning.
Peace, Si.
