Morning all!

It’s been an absolute whirlwind few days as a Chelsea fan, and on Friday we even smashed our record number of comments (394) on any single article and it wasn’t even me writing it! Luke ran the live blog on Friday and that ended up hitting 430 comments! My sourced update article on Caicedo, Olise, Lavia, Kepa etc on Saturday morning even hit 53 comments and that was nuts! You can recap that here before it all started to unfold over the weekend.

But I wanted to thank each and every one of you for all your comments and interactions these last few days, as well as your support. Whether you were ranting, raving, happy, sad, angry, annoyed, over the moon, I appreciate all your reactions! Football is a game of emotions and that’s why we love/hate it!!

We also had a game on yesterday and in all honesty we did not have the ideal build up to it in terms of preparation with all that was going on in the transfer market - and this was the main reason most of us wanted our main business done BEFORE this game. However, Mauricio Pochettino got the lads fighting and battling away and actually looking like the better team. It was a bit of an up and down game in general and you can get my full debrief and reactions on that game here.

With Kepa Arrizabalaga seemingly off to Real Madrid, Chelsea will look to replace him. I had a sourced article out on that yesterday morning here.
