The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 17th August 2023!

Morning all!

It’s another big day as Chelsea look to get more deals close and over the line, with focus still on arrivals and departures.

There was a lot said on Chelsea’s move to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace this week, with ‘tapping up’ claims coming up. I’ve addressed that here and also given the latest on where we are at with that one. Deal remains on :)

Next up, I’d head to the live blog from yesterday here to make sure you get all the very latest Chelsea transfer news. Latest on Romeo Lavia’s move to Chelsea (has he passed a medical yet?) as well as some crazy stories of Lewis Hall being up for sale that unfortunately seem to be true - absolute insanity.

The Chelsea interest in Ivan Toney has not disappeared despite him being handed a long ban for breaking betting rules. I have a big sourced story on that with some developments and a potential move on the cards, here.

I’ve been pals with Jai for a while and even met him at a Chelsea game. To be honest I’d totally forgotten to speak to him as an option and I have no idea why, because I think he’ll be an amazing choice. Pod out later this evening as we are recording later (around 6ish).
