Kim Min-Jae to Chelsea? Inverted full backs need to stay in the past, Estevao over Saka! Time for sustained stability across the club, Full news roundups, Much more....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 19th February 2026!
Morning all,
Hope you’re all having a good week.
Round up all your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here. This covers all you need to know.
Emmanuel Petit is right, its time for sustained stability at Chelsea across the board, from the manager to the players, to on the pitch as well. Story and quotes here.
Estevao over Saka? For sure, not a debate for me! Maybe I’m just biased, but I’ve never even been that overly impressed with Saka, especially recent form. I agree with Jason Cundy here.
The inverted full back shift needs to now be a mainstay. I’ve got some heat maps here of recent games, and as well as what we have seen with our eyes, it’s clear that the positioning of the full backs under Liam Rosenior are different, and much better.
A transfer rumour now to end this newsletter. Kim Min-Jae to Chelsea anyone? An experienced and dominant centre back. Cast your votes here as well as read the full story on it.
See you all on the next live blog on the home page around 8.45am today!
Peace, Si.
