"If Behdad and the SD's are reading this they should know this is not personal"... 🤣🤣🤣 Do you read through the stuff you write Score?

Many of us agree with much of what you've said but did you have to say it over and over and over again? Almost all of what you tell us comes from unattributable 'briefings' which those of us out here in football supporter world don't get to hear. Why not go into some actual details? Given that you yourself hide behind 'The Score' and don't have the 'cojones' to tell us who you are, why should we take your opinions as gospel ? A bit more context please mate.

Everyone has the right to their opinions. I respect some of yours and disagree with others but given it's barely 3 and a half years from Clearlake taking over and that they have spent, and continue to spend, billions of quids, much of it not especially wisely, which everyone can surely agree on, I certainly don't see Chelsea as a 'joke club'. If you want it 'right now' mate and see sitting 4th in the league, and being World Champions as some kind of failure, then I'm sorry, in my opinion, you seem to me to embody the most spoilt, entitled type of fan you could possibly imagine. After what Chelsea went through at the hands of the British Government, and considering many Blues wanted the Jim Ratcliffe consortium to take over, and hasn't that gone well at The Theatre of Dreams?, maybe a bit of perspective wouldn't go amiss. Criticise the signings certainly, be unimpressed with the quality and personalities of the SD's for sure, but please, get off your high horse coz, if you don't like employees and supervisors disagreeing, arguing or having egos, you're not living in the real world. It happens every day, a million times in millions of workplaces.

As for your view that there is some kind of mass uprising in the offing if Enzo Maresca leaves then I suspect your knowledge of the whole fanbase is a bit lop-sided. Lots of gans, me included, have softened towards him and he does definitely appear to be more flexible as a coach. Good for him, good for Chelsea. But he still has an awful lot of developing to do. I find it hilarious that you've elevated him to some kind of hybrid Fergie-Pep-Wegner figure. He's not there yet Score. He's still the bloke who mucked up against Qarabag, Leeds & Atalanta in recent weeks and the idea that Man City can't wait to get their hands on him is all a bit ludicrous.

So come on Score. Back up your opinions with what you know. Tell us what you've been told, if not by who. If you can't, or won't, then you've turned Si's community into nothing but yet another extreme chat-room for the mindless, spoilt, ranting and unrealistic.

Whereas I agree with a lot of your points it must be said that Maresca made a right pig's ear of the Atlanta match, especially the substitutions. So did he deserve a rollicking ? I would vote yes.

Especially as now it looks as if we may have to play 2 extra games in an already crowded couple of months.

The question we have to ask (some people have pointed it out already) is are our PE owners happy for us just to trudge along sometimes qualify for CL, sometimes winning a cup and just bank the profit they’d get from selling the club in the future due to the seemingly ending inflation in football?

Meanwhile, through amortisation they’re able to eek out an economic balance on technicalities through player trading.

that pretty much is the plan.

Had they be interested in winning the CL and PL they would have gone for quality while still looking for young players. Its all about returns and values.

Olise, Etikite, Semenyo, Osimhen, Rice could all have been ceiling raisers for us... keeping players like Hall & Connor would have retained quality in depth at no cost. There are ways to balance your expensive buys if you are smart enough... but no.. we got to trade.

>160m spent on utter dross on the left wingers. 60m on a right sided winger with a skill set of an undersized fullback. 100m on a midfielder whose passing and tempo controlling is a myth and who is a liability out of possession. 40m on a back up LB who has no business in the PL. 20m on the worst backup keeper in the league. 60 on Lavia who gets injured anytime he plays a few minutes. Close to 80m on Disasi & BB and best CBs are from Cobham or a fit Fofana. Close to 120m on strikers now & we still need an upgrade. Thats close to 700m there... and areas we still need to upgrade on. They will move some of them on for book profit and fans will clap them for being 'amazing' at selling players.

Their saving grace have been Cobham, Palmer & Cacido... & you can acknowledge the likes of Gusto & Sanchez and hopefully have a star in Estevao. That's pretty much it.

Can this get sent to the board by any chance ?

most of us saw this as a player trading model since Clearlake / SDs took over sometime back. And it has continued that way. They can say whatever they want about winning but at the same time you cant miss the fact that in so many positions we keep getting project players... and the can keeps being kicked down the road. Their model and vision is flawed.

On top of that Eghbali is a huge issue. Always thought of him as our own version of Moshiri who has a big ego, pokes his nose everywhere, loves being in the spotlight and micromanages everything. There is a reason he picked people who have no standing in football as his SDs / advisors... they will never question or push back.
