Morning all,
It’s time to round up everything that happened on the summer transfer deadline day of 2026!
Chelsea were heavily involved as expected. There was many stories to conclude either way, and a lot to report on. I had the big Live Blog running all day right up until the deadline at 11pm last night. You can see what happened on all the deals and stories here. Some HUGE twists and turns in this and ultimately, a massively failed deadline day. I’ll be ranting about it on the website very soon.
I also wrote about Mykhailo Mudryk joining Tottenham on loan. I don’t really have an attachment to Mudryk, so I don’t care where he goes really. But I wont be wishing him well there. Words here.
Amongst all the madness, I never had time to thank Chelsea and Xabi Alonso for finally sorting the goalkeeper issues at our club after far too long. Words on that here.
Right, we can all reflect on a mad summer transfer window on today’s Live Blog, starting up at 8.45am today on the home page. I’ll put my transfer window review out soon, as well as my season predictions now we have the final squad concluded.
