Welcome to May, and welcome to another weekend! Summer is almost upon us, and the football season is winding down to it’s end this month.
Chelsea do not play until Monday night this weekend, so you’re all free to go out and enjoy some local football, or whatever it is you decide you want to do! I’m playing two football matches in two days this weekend as I have a charity game on Sunday - wish me luck for Monday, I may not be walking!
The big one from yesterday was that Xabi Alonso is at least interested in speaking about the vacant Chelsea manager position. But there is some potential sticking points. Read all about that in our exclusive here.

Apparently Dave Fallows is influential in finding our next manager, and that does give me some hope for sure. I’m a little reassured by this news, which you can read all about here.
