EXCL: Inside Chelsea - Truth about the project, Sources: Ty George, Strand Larsen, Vini Jnr, & Quenda, Hiring John Terry as Liam Rosenior's assistant would be no brainer, Full news roundups, More.....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 7th January 2026!
Morning all,
Somehow, I’ve managed to remember that it’s 2026 in these newsletters so far, so a round of applause for that please!
Chelsea play tonight against Fulham and even though it was expected at one point, it is not going to be Liam Rosenior’s first game in charge. Callum McFarlane leads the team again tonight in another big game.
I put the latest out on Rosenior yesterday morning that would have dropped into your emails anyway - but you can recap it here if you missed it.
For all your very latest on all that is going on with Rosenior and everything else around the club right now, we had the live blog running across the last 24 hours covering it all here.
John Terry as Liam Rosenior’s assistant or onto his staff at least, anyone? Yeah, me too. No brainer for me, and it would be a good opportunity for the owners to get some fans back on side. Will they do it? I highly doubt it. But reasons why they should in here.
I had a big sourced article out on a number of transfer stories and other things yesterday which can be found here. This contains news on Tyrique George, Jorgen Strand Larsen, Vini Jnr, and Geovany Quenda.
Well, it’s out there in the public now. Myself, Danny, and Luke met with some members at the top of the club recently, just after Christmas. And Danny has released a lot of the info and things we spoke about in a deep insider article here. A must read if you haven’t already.
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.45am today!
Peace, Si.

Thanx Si for the breaking coverage
First class mate
Im excited with LR
Hopefully no more first half no shows & he gets a clue about how to get the best outta Palmer when he returns to full match fitness
Bit concerned bout old mate Sanchez playing out far from goal
Wouldn’t it make sense to grab Penders right now & intergrate him into our existing backline?!?
It would f-k Strasbourg ova big time but he’s apparently coming over in the summer so he may as well roll up with the new gaffer
Sanchez as good as he’s been lately needs to be phased out to a back up option
