The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 17th December 2024!
Morning all!
Hope you’ve had a great start to your week. Chelsea play again this Thursday, with Shamrock rolling into town.
We will be building up to that game this week, and we have the prime content to accompany it.
To begin with today, check out all of your latest Blues news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here. This covers literally all you need to know from the last day or so!
We also had yet another inside info sourced article drop into your emails yesterday. This was regarding a certain former Chelsea defender and our interest in him. There’s a chance we make a move in January, but you’ll need to read all about that in here.
It was great for us to have The Score drop by yesterday for one of his regular contributions for this site. A deep dive look at how the owners plans are now coming together can be found here. A really great read this, highly recommend giving it some time!
Time for some more flowers, and this time I’m handing them to Nicolas Jackson. People know I’ve not always rated his ability the highest, and I actually don’t think he’s been that great in that department in the last few games. But he is maturing, and not just with his play, but also mentally. So I wanted to offer some praise for that, and also shut down some stupid ‘praise’ by Tim Sherwood this week. You can check that out in full in here.
Jackson is sort of linked into my next article too. Anyone notice how many crosses we sent into the box on Sunday yet without a real focal point to aim for? We still need that profile of striker added to our squad in my opinion, something I have been saying for literally years now. We can’t just rely on 5ft 8in Marc Cucurella to make the right runs in to the box and win headers, can we!? Much more on that in here.
Do join me on the next live blog from around 8.30am today, see you there!
Peace, Si.
