The summer transfer window may have closed this week, but plans for new signings do not stop.
Chelsea got some incredible business done in the 2026 summer transfer window, but they are already thinking about how they might want to follow that up in the next two windows.
Obviously we are just out of the Enzo Fernandez saga and the drama that came with it - Chelsea not replacing the midfielder. But they banked £125m for him and are in a healthy position now in terms of having some cash around should they want to make any more big investments in the squad.
