EXCL: Chelsea make contact for Morgan Rogers alternative

Chelsea haven't given up on Rogers yet though

I did put some info out on the Live Blog on this one yesterday but as always, to make sure everyone sees it and add some more info to it, I’ve got it in an article format now here below.

Chelsea have not yet given up on Morgan Rogers, but there are a lot of obstacles in the way of them landing their ‘obsession’ this window. Other interest and the fact Rogers wants Arsenal over Chelsea is an issue, but he also now has a reported valuation of over £130m. That might just be Aston Villa using PR to play hard ball though, because no club is paying that for Rogers. They’d be insane to do so.

Chelsea have other options in case they cannot land Rogers, one of which we have spoken about and reported before in the shape of Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye. But as of now, nothing has advanced there, but he is on Chelsea’s list amongst others.

But as revealed further below, Chelsea have made contact for another possible target for the role.
