EXCL: Chelsea interested in Martin Zubimendi

The Blues have made contact with the 23-year-old defensive midfielder

We have been reporting on here for a while now that Chelsea are looking to sign a new defensive midfielder or two across the next couple of transfer windows.

The club are in sync with Graham Potter about revamping the midfield in January and the summer, and they are looking at a few players that fit the mould.

Chelsea are specifically targeting players based on recommendations from the new recruitment experts, as well as using data and honing in on asset specific players as well as personality.
