We are starting to head towards another transfer window as we fly through October, and as we know, Chelsea still have a second phase of their transfer plans to complete, as Xabi Alonso confirmed a few weeks back.
Chelsea are always going to be checking out the market and looking at whether they need to improve the squad, and we know there are two positions on the pitch that they are actively still looking to improve and add in.
January is a tough window to do deals in because it’s short, and clubs don’t like to lose players halfway through a season. But it’s far from impossible to do deals in, and Chelsea could be active - at least in terms of intent.
