Enzo Maresca: The early glimpses have been very refreshing
The clubs social media is filled with content of his first week
Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents,
I am pleasantly surprised with the content around Enzo Maresca and the glimpses we are getting to view of his training sessions and character.
He seems incredibly hands on and very detailed and thorough with what he wants from the players. It is definitely going to be an interesting sight for us Chelsea fans as we are not used to seeing this brand of football played and in such a particular manor.
This little clip is a really nice watch;

I can’t lie and say I wasn’t a fan of Poch but I also cannot imagine in my wildest dreams him putting together detailed training sessions involving major but thorough tactics and detail.
He seems to be a good man manager from the early bits we’ve heard, having already been in contact with the likes of Cucurella and Fernandez who have bene on international duty as well as other players before pre season started. Renato Veiga also mentioned in his opening interview that he had heard from the boss.
There is a full 8 minute video here of just Enzo Maresca and the way he has conducted his first week of training at the club, it is well worth a watch.
It is really hard to tell at this stage but the early glimpses are nice to see, but Enzo Maresca seems to be making an imprint on our football club. Only time will tell if it is a positive one and all the players are equipped and able to buy in to his strategy.
Thanks for reading.
Let me know your thoughts?

Been of the opinion for a long time that possession-based attacking football is the way to get the most out of our squad, so hearing words like "two touch" and "positional play" is music to my ears. Just hope we can hit the ground running this year, maybe from gameweek 2 onwards lol
I'm really buzzing for the new upcoming season of Chelsea under Enzo Maresca, Luke!!
