Enzo Maresca picking a fight he cannot win but I respect him for speaking out, When will Chelsea start behaving like an elite club? Oliver Glasner put forward as a Maresca replacement, Much more......
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 16th December 2025!
Morning all,
Chelsea play in the quarter finals of the League Cup tonight against League One side Cardiff City. The Blues are playing away from home, and their opponents are currently top of their league.
Round up all of your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here, covering all you need to know.
There is obviously a lot of manager and Enzo Maresca chatter around right now off the back of the comments he made publicly after our win over Everton. The tensions have boiled up, and there’s some situations arising.
I have my general opinion on Maresca coming out and saying what he said in here. I do actually respect him for holding his ground and speaking out, but unfortunately I also feel that it’s battle he cannot win and I struggle to see how he and the club now move forward together. This is not me calling for him to be sacked.
The Score is also very unhappy with what has gone on, and he’s not held back in his latest article for us here. A deep dive that is well worth your time.
So, IF, and of course it stays as a big IF, Maresca decides to leave or if the club decide to make a change, who would we look to replace him with?
Oliver Glasner has been thrown forward as an option. Read all about that here, as well as vote in the polls to give your views on him.
And this of course had me wondering, what would the perfect Chelsea manager look like if we could build one? Some key elements I’d want to look for it it was me hiring him in here.
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.45am on the home page!
Peace, Si.

Enzo in his last presser...
We are in an era where everyone can say what they think, I respect people’s opinion, I respect your opinion, but again, I don’t have nothing (anything) to add, my focus is just on tomorrow’s game."
That makes it very clear, pundits and online "fans" with extreme takes is what he is talking about, and their so called "expertise".
