It’s a Chelsea FC League Cup match day! Tonight we travel to Wolverhampton to face a struggling Wolves side in the fourth round of the competition.

I have some words ahead of the game here, and I am calling on Enzo Maresca to actually fully rest some of our fatigued players. We cannot keep making excuses about injuries and fatigue if we keep playing the fatigued players. Back your depth that the club worked so hard to cover in the summer and over the years.

And speaking about Maresca, what are your overall opinions on him right now? I’m intrigued to know because I’ve seen a bit of a shift again in the last week or so, so I wanted to get the views of the community here in the form of some polls here.

As you will know, The Score is fully backing Maresca and pins the blame on injuries, fatigue, and poor recruitment in the summer. There’s a lot in here I do agree with, but not all of it. Even still, it’s good to hear from Score again with his second article for us this week!
