I have positive hope for Rosenior. Everywhere he's been, players have developed and love to play for him. And in an ideal world, Behdad decides to sell to Boehly, whose LA Dodgers routinely splurge on high-end, proven talent to bolster their young stars.
Frankly I don't miss Maresca. His tactics and mentality seem to have peaked and results have not improved. But that doesn't mean the club is right to part ways with him. To let the medical team dictate the playing times of players is totally absurd; and the chaotic and even childish recruitment policies also. The owners letting the SDs from mediocre clubs to dictate the club is madness. Kompany is successful at Bayern because he has the big team mentality, true leadership and full club support behind. This club and Maresca have none.
Agree and disagree here. The medical team has kept Neto and Reece injury-free for over a full year. No doubt that the manager should get more leeway than the SDs and ownership give them.
With so many injuries of course they ought to be 2 or 3 healthy. Every club does that and they don't need to impose playtime restrictions by the medical teams as we do. And even so, what about Lavia, Essugo, etc.? And the limits on certain players, the higher the load on the others. That's why we're now starting to see Cucurella and some others get injured.
Great article, agree with every single word. We need to get behind the team and new manager. There is still plenty we can do in the next few months and at the same time demand better from the board, sporting and commercial. kTBFFH
Totally correct. If there is anything good to be gained from this mess it is that it's now 100% clear what the problem is at our club. Not the manager, not the players. While Clearlake/ Blueco are in control the club will continue to decline into insignificance.

I'm wondering how long we get behind the new manager for?
Obviously if he is Pants then he will be found out fairly quickly.
If he is a carpet for every one to walk on then he will walk straight out the door sooner I expect rather than later.
Interestingly I now believe the Chelsea Manager slot is seen by prospective manager as "I work a year and they pay my 5 year contract off!
There is no question in my mind of ever supporting the SD's and Eghbali ever again.
