His calmness and presence has surprised me and has been a real benefit/bonus. You’re 100% correct that he is decision-making has been excellent for someone with so little experience within the Premier League. He seems to be unfazed with the step up and can only get better.
He needs more work on being decisive in claiming crosses -which, to be fair, is also part of set piece (lack) of defending. Also I have noticed he seems to freeze on his line quite a few times (lack of anticipation ) when the ball has either hit the post or just gone wide. Still to be fully convinced.
Yeah I noticed in games I've watched that Sanchez is much better at claiming crosses and in set piece situations. I'm hoping that this is just part of his acclimatization to the Prem. He did mention in an interview that the MLS vs Prem is like playing a completely different sport.

Sanchez is a 14m GBP bought for 25m, and Petrovic fortunately came from west of Brighton, so was a 25m GBP player bought for 14m.
Finally a positive article! Thank you!
