The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 13th February 2025!
Morning all,
Welcome to Thursday! I’m not sure what we are doing about the Podcast yet today/this week. Jai has had some sad personal news so has had to drop from today. Waiting to hear from him to see what we can do this week if anything, I’ll keep you updated.
Before that, plenty of content for you on here. You can begin with the live blog from yesterday here covering all your latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place for your convenience. The news of Nicolas Jackson being out injured until April came after I closed the blog down for the day, but I’ll pick up on the reactions and aftermath of that today.
The Score has been on absolute fire for us this week and has produced articles every single day of superb quality, and I find myself agreeing with everything he says, I am sure many of you do too. You can read his latest here on how Chelsea have lost their winning culture at the club and how we can get it back.
Another member of our amazing SPTC community, Dean Horne, has posted his realistic ideas on how we upgrade our current squad through the eyes of our sporting directors and within their strategy. It’s a really interesting set of ideas from Dean in here, and I have posted my reactions and opinions on what he has suggested.
A couple from me now to see us out for today. I wanted to highlight a quote I read this week that is really daft. It wasn’t long ago that fans were singing ‘we’ve got our Chelsea back’ which at the time I thought was far too premature. Turns out it was, and the fan flip-flopping needs to change in my view. Read all about that here.
The last article is on Jadon Sancho, who has been in the headlines a lot this week, which is all rather daft too. Sancho has a lot of quality, and I don’t think we need to be too hasty on him just yet. You can dive into that one here.
Thanks for stopping by, see you all on the next live blog from around 8.30am today!
Peace, Si.
