Debate: Who is the best value for money signing in the Clearlake/Boehly era?
The ownership are on tenterhooks so let’s reflect…..
Good evening ladies and gents,
They to this debate is the term “value for money” and I want to exclude Cole Palmer as that is FAR to obvious a pick.
For me it has to be Malo Gusto, he was 27m pounds, provides genuine competition and cover to the right back area, has earnt his right to be in the starting 11 even with every single player being fit and available.
He hasn’t quite hit his form of last season as of yet and has of course got a minor injury currently but honestly this guy is an elite Right Back in the making.
Honourable mention to Nicolas Jackson also for me!
I am really intrigued to hear from all of you on your thoughts, reasonings and selections…….
Please try and participate if you can and I look forward to debating with you all.
Thanks for reading and participating

I totally concur with you, Luke. Gusto and Jackson are two from my perspective. Both of exceeded my expectations.
Looking at the more recent purchases and obviously subject to seeing them perform over the next 12 months I think you might be able to add Veiga and I have a sneaking suspicion that Sancho is going to be very good value for money in 12 months time
I would add Noni to the list if he continues his upwards trajectory and I also agree with Craige about Sancho IF he comes good.
