Community would 'probably' consider selling Enzo Fernandez & want to sign a proper No.9 & DM, Football IS changing, Home is where the heart is for Levi Colwill, Cole Palmer gets ultimate compliment...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 10th October 2024!
Morning all!
There is some more football on tonight with England vs Greece in the Nations League. We are expecting to see Levi Colwill and Cole Palmer in action at least, with Noni Madueke maybe off the bench. So we get a bit of a Chelsea fix at least.
But until then, the Blues content is coming in! Check out all your latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place in here, covering quotes, interviews, transfer rumours, and everything else in between!
Levi Colwill did a really nice interview this week whilst on international duty with England. He admitted that he has moved away from Cobham back to his home City of Southampton, meaning he now has an hour and a half commute every day. But as he explains in here, home is where the heart it.
He also explained how football is changing, and this is why he needs to be open to playing in different positions. Whilst I understand this and see versatility as a good thing, there is a fine balancing act between having versatility and getting the very best out of players. I explain that in here.
Meanwhile, Cole Palmer has received THE ultimate compliment you can get as a football player this week. We all love him, and so does the entire England team. Read all about that in here.
Some REALLY interesting results from this weeks polls. In a nutshell, the majority of you are saying we still need a proper no.9, we need a DM, we are mostly happy with Noni Madueke, Mykhailo Mudryk needs a loan, we would probably consider selling Enzo Fernandez if a good offer came in, we are concerned about breaking down low blocks, and much more in these results here.
Right all, we have the latest Podcast out this afternoon to give you all some more Chelsea fix during another boring international break. And join me on the live blog from 8.30am today on the home page too!
Peace, Si.
