Hope you’ve had a good week as we roll into another weekend. No Chelsea this weekend of course, but we do have Ruben-ball to look forward to! I am of course talking about Ruben Loftus-Cheek and his recall to the England squad which has been fully deserved. Tommy Tuchel loves Ruben, and I’m hoping to see him back out on the pitch this Saturday!

There was an excellent interview out with striker Marc Guiu, who has just returned to our squad to cover the injury to Liam Delap. His mentality and attitude is great, and he is a man full of confidence in Chelsea and in Enzo Maresca. Get his quotes and more here.
Ben Chilwell has now left Chelsea to join Strasbourg on a permanent deal, and this guy deserves our ultimate respect. He’s been a model pro and just stayed quiet this whole time whilst being frozen out by the club. I’ve got some words on Chilly here as well as player reactions and his own reactions to him leaving.
This leads in to my thoughts on Chelsea’s bomb squad and how they treat players in general. It’s a debate that has split opinions and has pros and cons about it. I have honed in on all of that in here.
Time for our community predictions now for the season ahead. I did mine earlier this week, then asked for yours in a set of polls. There are some very interesting results and big calls in this here.
