Chelsea Newsletter - Wednesday 24th November
Covering: Juventus reactions, Marina Granovskaia the chief negotiator, importance of the academy lads, Mason Mount news - the actual situation, and our general news sweep...
Welcome back to Wednesday’s newsletter off the back of our Champions League clash against Juventus.
How good were Chelsea yet again? How elite are Cobham? 3-0 against Leicester then 4-0 against Juventus, we are in a Thomas Tuchel dream land! We BOSSED Juve!
I have the review on that which is like a watch-along review picking up on things as they happened here.
A couple of articles related to our academy and some of the talent we have produced over the years now.
One of those of course is Mason Mount, and you’ve probably seen a few wild stories on him in the last week, some actually contrasting to the other. So I’ve summed those up with a recap, and based on my top sources, delivered what the actual situation is here.
Staying with the academy, I wanted to talk about some of our graduates from a different perspective, and that is touching on their maturity as well as their quality.
You can check that opinion piece here.
Our club director Marina Granovskaia won a prestigious award this week, so I thought it would be a great time to write a bit about her, what she does at Chelsea, and why she is one of the best in the world at what she does here.
Finally, how about some Fabrizio Romano quotes on Chelsea’s happenings and plans? My colleagues at Talk Chelsea have a video with Fab coming out today so keep eyes peeled for that, but until then I’ve got a few key quotes here in my general news sweep article.
Cheers guys, Si.
