Chelsea Newsletter - Wednesday 10th August
Covering: Werner departs! Sources on Aubameyang, Depay, Fofana, De Jong, Doku, and Zaha, What next for Amapdu? Two important things to do, Plus all the latest Chelsea news and inside info...
Morning all!
Have to start with this today unfortunately…
The odd one or two have been sharing screenshots of full articles/info on Twitter again, so we have an important update on that here. Please read this, thank you!
Onto the news now, as that’s what we’re all here for! Timo Werner officially left Chelsea to rejoin RB Leipzig on a permanent deal last night, so we say thank you and good luck to him!
Check the live blog here from yesterday first, as that is where we post all the transfer news from the last 24 hours, as well as drop our sourced stuff from throughout the day.
Next up, some sourced info that I put out yesterday morning (some might be outdated now) on Aubameyang, Depay, Zaha, Fofana, and De Jong here.
Yesterday I mentioned Jeremy Doku of Rennes being a Chelsea target, but at that moment I hadn’t had much information to report. Well now I do, so I’ve put more out on him in a sourced update here.
What next for Ethan Ampadu? Will he stay at Chelsea? I answer those questions as well as give my opinions on what needs to happen with the Welsh international here. Worth noting that since I wrote this, The Athletic have claimed that Chelsea will sanction another loan move for Ampadu this window.
Finally, as well as signing more players and moving some on, Chelsea have two jobs to do this summer that are equally as important as the above. I explain all here.
That’s it for now folks. Tomorrow we will do a Podcast with myself, Rob Pratley, and Macca delivering all the latest transfer updates!
Peace, Si.

Morning Si news articles this morning saying Frankie De Jong refusing to speak with Man U and Chelsea and digging heels in at Barca any truth in this?
Good Morning Si,
Sorry to annoy you with demanding constant updates but is the silence regarding Fofana in the last couple of days a good thing? Can we expect to see something happen before the weekend or this could be drawn out?
