Chelsea Newsletter - Tuesday 26th July

Morning all!

An update on this week coming first:

My Wife has been offered a chance to work at Camp Bestival this weekend coming (she’s a massage therapist), so we have been given free tickets. What this means is that Macca is covering the Podcast this week, and I’ve got Ben Jacobs to join him for a transfer special this Wednesday, which as long as Macca’s brain can manage it, will be out by later that day. In terms of my stuff, I’ll be producing newsletters every day still bar Friday this week, as I am leaving for Bestival late on Wednesday afternoon and I won’t have WiFi or much electric facilities! However, Charlie has kindly agreed to run the live blog for me Wednesday afternoon and into the evening, as well as all day on Thursday. If anything big happens whilst I am away, he will also try and get that out for you guys, and he will ask me any questions on anything if I need to relay any news that I get from sources, back to you guys.

I’ve barely taken any holidays the whole two years I’ve been doing this, and even when I do I am still getting the content out and only missing one newsletter! I’m back Sunday so will be doing the article for Monday’s newsletter as soon as I get back Sunday evening! DEDICATION, and of course, great support from our team here, some of which just volunteer and I am SO lucky to have. I am going to ask Rob Pratley as well, to hopefully get his sourced updates out in article format to send to you guys whilst I am away, so you’ve still got something.

It’s a bit of a warzone out there right now as Chelsea continue to have a poor pre-season, so this article here I am addressing the ‘mess’ that we are in right now.

There’s still time left to sort this window out, and I am trying to keep the faith. This article here is explaining how we can still be smart this transfer window, and even more importantly, going forward now.

Finally, whilst it’s a turmoil time right now and a lot of emotions and anger out there amongst Blues fans off the back of a 4-0 defeat to Arsenal and the Jules Kounde saga, I want to encourage you all in the last article here to keep this platform a safe and respectful place, because I think that’s why so many of us enjoy it here so much!
