It’s getting to what they call ‘squeaky bum’ time now as we enter the final 7 days of the transfer window, and I am feeling that my fears of an eventful deadline day for Chelsea might come true. I’ve already marked it off the diary and expect my fingers to be on fire come the end of that day!

Anyways, here is the latest news as we knew it to be at the time of writing. Three sourced stories on our three main targets before the window ends.

The latest on Anthony Gordon first here, and you’ll see as you go through these stories that they all have a very similar theme, or very similar ‘problem’ attached to them. Risky or wise? I’ll let you decide.

The up and down transfer saga of Wesley Fofana next, and I am at the front of the queue now for wanting this one to just be over either way. However, there is still some positivity in here.

The last one is on Pierre Emerick Aubameyang here, and you will see that reoccurring theme I am talking about come up once again, even if this one has certainly advanced over the course of Wednesday.

Next up, both Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi look set to be granted their moves away this summer. So, will it be a case of two in two out in attack? Or will Chelsea target more? I’ve got that covered here.
