I’m still fuming, really am. I know we can’t pin the blame entirely on the officiating, but honestly, something needs to be done here, the FA need to take responsibility. What we witnessed yesterday was absolutely disgraceful, and you can catch my full rants/thoughts and review of the game here.
A bunch of soured stories next after a weekend of quietness really. But there are some developments and updates to speak about and report to you guys, so I’ve got you covered for Wesley Fofana, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Frenkie De Jong, and Wilfried Zaha here to start with.
The next sourced story involves Celtic’s interest in signing Ross Barkley, and a player who has also been involved in the same conversations who could come the other way. You can find out the full story on that one here.
The last sourced story of the day is a bit closer to home and involves one of our own, Dujon Sterling. Because Raheem isn’t the only quality Sterling we have at this club. Some might not actually know half of this story or at all, but things have been very difficult for Dujon this pre-season. Read all about that and his future plans here.
Finally, I want to talk about position mis-profiling, something that has happened a fair amount at Chelsea these last couple of seasons. Of course, flexibility, versatility, and fluidity is a great asset to have. But there’s some concerning things I wanted to talk through here.

I thought we played better than I thought we would. Looking back at the Arsenal game we have a long way!
Ref was crap, VAR is a joke, Kante injured but I’m happy we played so well. I liked it when CG came on, he looked good. Mandy, learn to jump and catch please! Kepa is the same! Both scared of crosses! 👍
Just want to make a point about our keeper. Why does he ever come and claim crosses? He puts a lot of pressure on the n our defence when he could sometimes easily come and claim the ball. Very frustrating.
