Chelsea Newsletter - Monday 11th October
Covering latest injury news, Saul impressing, confidence returning for Chilwell, Christensen words and contract update, as well as a general news sweep...
Morning guys hope you all had a cracking weekend!
There was some nice bits of football around for sure, and as a English man I certainly enjoyed catching up with that game on Sunday.
We are now just 5 days away from the return of domestic football, hell yeah! Chelsea face Brentford away on Saturday evening in the 5.30pm kick off.
I’ll slide back in with my general news sweep up from Sunday first, taking you through anything you might have missed here.
Ahead of our Brentford match this weekend we do have one or two injury concerns and issues to look at, but we have some good news for this week and things to be hopeful for. Check out my injury news updates here.
Is there any chance at all that Saul Niguez gets some minutes at the weekend or anytime soon? Well, he’s certainly doing all he can to get that chance, find out about there here.
Another player who is working his butt off right now in order to force his way back in to the permanent plans of Thomas Tuchel is Ben Chilwell, and his case has been improved with two goals in his last two games.
I have some positive news on Chilwell here.
Lastly, we might finally get an announcement of Andreas Christensen agreeing a new Chelsea contract soon - Find out the latest details on that here, as well as his words on his time in the Chelsea academy and transitioning into the first team.
Thanks again for all of you who have paid to subscribe and welcome to the new guys. We have a nice exclusive little Chelsea community building here, exciting times!
Cheers all, Si
