Chelsea Newsletter - Friday 4th March
Covering: Chelsea Ownership latest, Will Marina Granovskaia Stay Or Go? A Letter To Potential New Owners, Loftus-Cheek Re-Inventing Himself? Plus Everything Else From Thursday...
Morning!
Welcome to Friday’s Newsletter about the craziest club in the world right now. Times are certainly interesting and rather turbulent at Chelsea FC as I write this, and we are about to embark on changes. Mixed feelings as always, but part of me feels a bit of adrenaline and excitement of the unknown as well right now, maybe that’s just me?
Anyways, we’ve made it to another weekend, and this is my last Newsletter for a couple days. Anything major breaks though, I’ve got your backs and I’ll put something out of course.
Until then, here is the latest Chelsea FC news from our live blog yesterday and as expected, it’s largely based around the ownership situation.
We stay with that situation in our next article here, where I give the lowdown on what I have been told about the potential new owners and where we stand with all that.
What about the future of Marina Granovskaia and Bruce Buck? Will they join Abramovich in leaving the club? Find out more on that situation here.
An letter to our potential new owners (wrote this BEFORE Adam Newson from Football London’s beautifully written version yesterday - Cleary great minds!) from me here now and yes, I realise they probably won’t see this, but you never know! It felt good to write it regardless.
Finally, an article here away from ownership and it’s a positive one on why I think Ruben Loftus-Cheek could be re-inventing himself these last few weeks and my mind for his future could be changing again, which is fine by the way and entirely normal as a fan.
We also DO have a game this weekend, although to be honest that’s been far from the forefront of my mind right now, and I’m still concerned as to what effects this is having on our players and coaches. But we face Burnley away in the league, 3pm (UK) kick off. It will be a very tough match, but at least we will see a strong line up once again and have guys like the very important Thiago Silva hopefully back in. His experience and maturity will be MASSIVE for us right now.
Let’s GO CHELSEA!!
Peace, Si.
