Morning and welcome to deadline day!
Not a transfer window (I wish), but the deadline for offers to be sent in to Raine Group, who are handling the sale of Chelsea Football Club.
Will it be The Saudi’s? Boehly, Ricketts (god no), Candy Shop (sorry), or some stealth operator from nowhere? The race appears to be wide open.
I’ve got all the latest on the ownership takeover here. I will make sure I post out anything significant today as it happens even though there is no live blog. So keep an eye on your emails today.
Don’t forget, we might not hear a decision today, after all it is just the last day that offers can come in. I’d imagine there will be some time then to make the big decision, which Roman Abramovich IS still heavily involved with. Most sources suggest we will certainly know before the end of March.
