We’re into this new international break but fear not, Chelsea play this weekend and it’s probably a game I’m more excited to watch than most other football games in general from recent times! The Chelsea Legends are taking on The Liverpool Legends this Saturday at Stamford Bridge! Diego Costa, John Terry, and Eden Hazard back on the same pitch together you say? Reece James is injured again but fear not, it’s not actually an ‘injury’. I have news on that here as well as explaining why James needs this rest based off how he’s been playing lately.
I am a backer of the way Estevao Willian has been eased in at Chelsea by Enzo Maresca so far this season, I think that’s been very smart. I do think now though, along with Josh Acheampong, these two lads deserve a run of starts in the team. We might not have much choice anyway! Words on that here.
A bit of transfer chatter now and as it’s an international break, I’ll be honing in on some ‘lesser’ rumours. Chelsea are apparently in for Dortmund centre back Nico Schlotterbeck. Who is reporting that? Is it legit? And how would you feel about Chelsea moving for him? All of that and more in here.
