The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 24th November 2025!
Morning all,
Today is my Wife’s birthday and we are away for the night. My incredible parents are having Solly for us and we can live like it’s 2023 again, or BS (Before Solly) as we all it…
So today I will not be running a live blog, but I will do a news round up later on at some point. Thanks for understanding :)
Chelsea beat Burnley 2-0 away from home to go SECOND in the Premier League this weekend! It was an important win and actually a score that I predicted correctly for once on the Podcast last week! You can read my thoughts on the game here.
Liam Delap has been disappointing lately but that is what comes with raw and incomplete players. These guys need patience and time but unfortunately, Delap is playing in a position where time is not really allowed. So he either needs to step up now, or speed time up. I still have a lot of belief in him. Words here.
Andrey Santos for me was the star man on Saturday and was THE perfect Moises Caicedo replacement. He really did the dirty work and the much needed dog work against Burnley, and has earned his praise here.
Meanwhile, Joe Cole says signing Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth would be a no brainer, and of course, he’s right. But will Chelsea be in this race? Find out here.

Peace, Si.

I’ve wanted Santos to be the backup for Caicedo since last season when I knew he was coming. Finally Maresca’s trusted him to do it.
