Chelsea 4 Southampton 0, Sources: Everyone at Chelsea under scrutiny if no UCL, Curious case of Carney Chukwuemeka not so curious, How many points from last 11 games? News roundups, Much more....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 26th February 2025!
Morning all,
It was another Chelsea match day last night and it was a late 8.15pm kick off at home to Southampton. The Blues produced a much needed convincing win and a decent performance at home. The opposition was terrible, granted, but we had a big job to do, and we did it well.
There were some fan protests against the owners and SDs before the game, and you can see what happened with those in the live blog from yesterday here as I covered all the videos and images from the protests. This also covers all your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours.
I put out my match report late last night too, and you can read all about that, get the player ratings, conclusion, and debrief here.
Chelsea NEED Champions League football this season, without a doubt. I put this sourced article out earlier in the day yesterday that details the exact situation, the plans if we do not get it, and who is under pressure at the club right now in here.
How many points do you think Chelsea will take between now and the end of the season? You can vote on each game here so we can conclude our predictions on how many points we will get this season. I’ll put out the results of this later today.
And my last article of this newsletter is on a player I rate very highly, as does the Dortmund boss, Carney Chukwuemeka. It’s a ‘curious’ case that actually isn’t too ‘curious’ at all. You can read about that one here.
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.30am today!
Peace, Si.

A win is a win but I didn’t enjoy the game again. It’s not just about winning it’s about seeing them play as a team and playing with some enjoyment.
