The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 7th April 2025!
Morning all!
I hope you had a good weekend and those of us in the UK, have been able to enjoy a nice bit of rare sustained sunshine!
Chelsea played yesterday of course against Brentford in the Premier League and only managed a goalless draw. We keep fourth spot, for now at least, but it’s still in our hands.
You can read my full match reactions and more here.
You’ll be able to grab all the rest of the reactions from Enzo Maresca and others in our Blues News Report which also covers all the general Chelsea news from Sunday as well, here.
I was up at The Bridge last Thursday to see Chelsea beat Tottenham, which is always nice. Luke did our match report for that, but I have thrown together some takeaways that I noticed from being at the stadium for this game here. As you saw, we also met super Tommy Tuchel, and Reece James signed a kit for Solly. Both legends!
Meanwhile, Wesley Fofana is out injured yet again and will miss the rest of this season after having surgery on his hamstring. Chelsea must act now because we cannot rely on Fofana. We need to invest in a new dominant centre back who can lead the back line. Words on that here.
And the last one is a sourced transfer news updates article on new strikers for the summer. You would have had this in your emails yesterday but I have news on a number of names including Benjamin Sesko, Liam Delap, Victor Osimhen, and even a new name here.
See you all on the next live blog from 8.30am this morning!
Peace, Si.
