The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 10th December 2025!
Morning all,
Welcome to Hump Day, moving towards another weekend!
Chelsea played football last night in the Champions League once again as the lads headed out to Italy, the home of Enzo Maresca. However, it was an awful outing for the Italian and his players, but for me, this one was mostly on Maresca as they lost 2-1 to Atalanta.
You can grab my full thoughts, debrief, ratings, and conclusion on the game here.
You can round up all your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here as always.
Alejandro Garnacho spoke before the game, and he spoke well. The winger says he has zero regrets on leaving Manchester United, and he believes that Chelsea will improve even more over the course of this season. All of that can be found here.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United defender Phil Jones, who is now an academy coach at the club, believes Chelsea are not far off from being Premier League title challengers, but he says they need to make the right recruitment decisions to do so. His words here, that I agree with.
And in what is an unintentional Manchester United focused newsletter today, I have some words here from former United stars Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes, who both believe that Kobbie Mainoo could be on his way to Chelsea soon. Some interesting quotes in this one.
Ser you all on the next live blog from around 8.45am on the home page today!
Peace, Si.
