The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 17th March 2025!
Morning all,
Hope you had a great weekend. It was a Chelsea match day yesterday on a Sunday as it often is these days with European football on a Thursday night.
We saw the far too familiar pattern in Chelsea’s play yesterday as they lost 1-0 against Arsenal in the Premier League. There was a lot lacking as usual, and you can grab my review in full here.
Lots of transfer stuff going down over the weekend with a couple of ‘here we go’ confirmed deals for Dário Essugo and Geovany Quenda of Sporting. These are two quality young players. But could Chelsea raid Sporting for a third player? We have some sourced news on that as well as lots of other snippets and bits and pieces on transfer news here. I’d also hidden some pre-match injury news as we had the exclusive scoop on Cole Palmer missing the game in this one.
I also have another sourced article out on Kendry Paez and what the plans are for him this summer. Basically, I’d ignore any stories on this for now because there are a lot of decisions to be made and other situations that can effect it. I have the details on that from sources here.
Some words on and from Moises Caicedo next here. If any Chelsea player wants to know what to say and how to act in order to get universal fan backing, then just look to Moises. Be more Moises.
And as always, I rounded up all your latest Chelsea news from yesterday in the same place here, covering all the quotes, interviews, and news before and after the Arsenal game.
See you all on the next live blog from 8.30am this morning!
Peace, Si.

Si Another Chelsea Horror Showing .
I am now almost numb to watching us play with no intensity no desire no clear footballing style.
Sanchez is an absolute disaster of a keeper. But Maresca will take the flack and keep picking him to save the owners etc from any dissenting opinions .
Been a Chelsea supporter since 1973 & I have never ever felt such a disconnect with the club.
