After 15 games played, why are Chelsea still sat in 10th place?

It’s time to go in a little bit, because last night’s performance against Manchester United was beyond disgusting and easily one of the worst Chelsea performances I ever witnessed.

It was certainly the worst under Mauricio Pochettino and this group. So why then, after 15 games, are we still only sat in 10th place and seemingly making no progress at all?

I always said it would be a bumpy ride and none of us expect to win every game. But what we do need to see is progression, and unfortunately our current league position right now proves that we are NOT making progress.

Whilst yes the performances have improved in terms of the data at least, the only stat that actually matters is our current league position, and that is far from good enough.

So what are the issues? It’s quite simple - the issues are the owners, Mauricio Pochettino, and the players. And I’ll now go ahead and explain why.
